WORSLEY, Commander F. A., /SHACKLETON'S BOAT JOURNEY/. Bound in blue
cloth with gilt-stamped nautilus design & titling. Published by Philip
Allan & Co., Ltd., London. [1933]. 1st edition, hb, 12mo, pp. [8] - 192.

"This account of Shackleton's boat journey is based on that contained in
my book 'ENDURANCE' published in 1931.". This is a title in The Nautilus
Library of books about the sea and ships, and precedes the 1940 Hodder &
Stoughton edition. There is a neat ink inscription, dated 1938, on the
front free endpaper, as well as a blind stamp, and signatures of former
owners, and a small, old, grease pen price mark on the front pastedown.
The book is sl. cocked and bumped, with light scuffing & soiling to the
boards. Hinges and joints tight; internally very clean. Overall, in good
plus condition, but without dust wrapper. See Spence 1279.

Price: $250.00. (#30598)

Terms of Sale - The price is net in US funds and includes surface mail
postage anywhere. Payment by check or credit card (MasterCard, VISA,
AMEX). Returnable within seven days of receipt if not as described.
