cu[m] Figuris… (Venice: Melchiore Sessa & Petrus de Ravanis. 1516). Folio. 
ff.(26),ccclx,(1). Including the final blank.    Title printed in red & black with 
the famous cat & mouse device of Sessa. Illustrated throughout with 77 
woodcuts (mostly 3” x 3” but some as large as 4” x 6”). Large woodcut initials. 
Bound in modern full red morocco, ornately gilt spine. Some pin-hole worming to 
the final leaves.     $3,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
A scarce Venetian illustrated edition of Plutarch’s LIVES, edited by G. 
Vercellanus after J. Badius Ascensius. Essling #597 (Vol. I, part II) pp. 62-68
