Offering here first:

The Encyclopaedia Britannica, Eleventh Edition, complete in 29 quarto
volumes. This is the quarto edition on India paper, bound in dark green
cloth over boards. The present set was lacking volume 27 so an orphan from a
leather-bound set of the same size has been supplied. The 28 cloth volumes
are in generally good condition. They have normal fraying to spine ends with
deeper tears to cloth at heads of spines of a couple of volumes. There are
the occasional cracked hinges and a nearly detached endpaper in one of the
volumes. The supplied volume 27 as noted is leather-bound over limp boards.
It has cracking to both joints, the upper of which is secured with black
binder's tape, and the spine is checked and flaky. The interior of volume 27
shows a bit of occasional dampstaining at top of textblock otherwise clean
inside, as are the other volumes. Anyway, all in all it is a good working
set of this last great encyclopedia. $275 postpaid within the U.S.A.,
additional postage at cost elsewhere.

Best regards,

Rock
