Order of service given to mourners at the funeral of jazz pianist Thelonius 
Sphere Monk on February 22, 1982 in Saint Peter's Church, Manhattan, New 
York City: Monk's last public appearance.

- Front shows a silhouette of Monk with
   his ever-present hat and beard.
- Inside front cover is an excerpt from the
   Preface of A Study of Kahlil Gibrain.
- Detail of the funeral service listing
   the tributes by George Wein, et al.
- Listing of the performing musicians:
   Ray Copeland, Gerry Mulligan, 19 total

- The family's tribute to musicians who

Pamphlet, 8 1/2"h x 5 1/2"w, of two sheets of yellow, linen-textured paper 
folded, no binding. Printed in black. Faint, occasional soil. Horizontal 
crease to all pages from being folded, pamphlet has been pressed flat
