Hatton of Fintray on the river Don in Aberdeenshire. It was demolished in
1952. 67 copper plates, many folding, and head and tailpieces, initial
letters, &c. Text and plates clean with little or no foxing. (Greek-born,
he was nonetheless a meticulous historian of the rise of Rome; he travelled
widely and witnessed, with Scipio, the destruction of Carthage in 146
