1704.  First edition.  NOT ex-Library.  Full page plates are as follows: Engraved plate of Harris opposite title page, Anatomical plate, Five Orders of Architecture,  Engine For Raising Water by Fire, w/ Engine working in a mine (bottom of page folds out),  Fortification, John Marshall's New Invented Double Microscope (fold-out), Mr. Hawksbee's Barometer, A crank driven Air-Pump,  plus numerous half page, quarter page etc illustrations in the text,
Front cover and the pages preceding the Subscriber’s List are loose, as is the front cover.. Original 3/4leather with 5 raised bands in very rough condition with some leather missing. There are also some occasional loose pages in the book. On the spine, the second panel from the top is stamped “Harris’s Dictionary.” in gilt. Page edges are colored in wavy designs. End papers are plain and original.
The rear cover and last four leaves are loose. There are intermittent water stains, most heavily affecting the beginning pages, but never affecting the readability of the book. 
The title page is printed in red and black. Pages are not numbered but I have gone through the book and there are no missing pages and it ends “finis”
