Among the many fine Spring New Arrivals posted on our web site
http://www.erols.com/agvent

ROOSEVELT, Eleanor. [THIS I REMEMBER] IK HERINNER MIJ. Amsterdam:
Uitgeverij Keesing (1950). First Edition. Dutch translation of THIS I
REMEMBER published a year after the original edition in English.
Illustrated with photographs. This is copy #95 of only 150 of a
special edition SIGNED by the author on the limitation page. These
autographed copies were sold with a surcharge of twelve-and-a-half
Dutch florins (= four dollars in the year 1950) intended for Princess
Wilhelmina's Royal Welfare Fund. Cloth is bright but has a small area
at the head of the spine where it is rubbed through to the boards.
The dustwrapper closely resembles the original but with Dutch copy
and a blank rear panel. It is also bright with some edgewear and
chipping, the largest corresponding to the rubbed spot at the head of
the spine. Perhaps the smallest limitation of any signed Eleanor
Roosevelt book and certainly one of the most unusual. Still Good in a
Good dustwrapper and quite uncommon. $1000.00
