      History of the factory town of Sidney, New York, home of the Scintilla
Magneto Company--predecessor of the present Bendix Connector Operations. The
Scintilla Magneto was a revolutionary device that produced a superior spark
to ignite the air and gasoline mixture in reciprocating aircraft engines.
Includes many interesting old photographs. Bound in black cloth over boards
with gilt-stamped spine and upper board titles, pictorial endpapers. Jacket
has a short tear at bottom edge of front panel with a few associated
creases, some light edge rubs. Clean and tight copy.    $50.00
