First  Edition.  Copy #161 of only 201 numbered and SIGNED  copies  of
perhaps Ferber's best known book, published a year after her Pulitzer-
Prize  winning  SO BIG. Source for the musical and film starring  Paul
Robeson.  Spine lightly soiled, less than normal. Two small bumps with
slight  tears  on the bottom edges of the boards. Near  Fine,  lacking
the slipcase.                                                  $750.00
