New England. These are being auctioned without reserves, because, well,
-just *because*, you know?

HISTORY OF THE DISCOVERY OF AMERICA...AND OF THE MOST REMARKABLE
ENGAGEMENTS WITH THE INDIANS IN NEW ENGLAND... (and on and on and on) By
Henry Trumbull. Published by George Clark in Boston, 1836. A better (and
far shorter) title for this book would be "How the Nasty, Depraved and
Savage Indians Massacred Innocent Europeans in America Until They Were
Wiped Out". Let's just say that Mr. Trumbull didn't hold the Indians in
high regard. Includes some petty dramatic woodcuts...
THE EARLY HISTORY OF NEW ENGLAND, ILLUSTRATED BY NUMEROUS INTERESTING
INCIDENTS. By Rev. Henry White. Published by I. S. Boyd in 1841, 4th
edition. No bad news here, but plenty of blood and gore. Opening with the
Puritan's in Elizabethan England and ending with the repeal of the hated
stamp act, the Rev. White offers an extraordinarily thorough history of the
white man in New England.
plus other books on literature, history, and much more, all offered without
reserves.
