      Number 59 of 500 in the "Author's Autograph Edition," SIGNED on 
limitation page by Chapman. Illustrated throughout with numerous 
reproductions from original paintings, photographs, etc. Volume II 
frontispiece by Brinsley done especially for this work. MONAGHAN #2299. 
Bound in blue cloth over boards with spines lettered in gilt, top edges 
gilt, upper boards blind-stamped with publisher's device. Binding 
extremities are mildly rubbed, top fore corner of volume I is bumped, 
interiors are slightly age-toned with scattered foxing. Hinges are not 
cracked.    $150.00
