The majority of the book is devoted to the Himalya, the mountains of 
Kumaon and Garhwal, and Karakoram. "Longstaff climbed on most ranges 
in the northern hemisphere and  was one of the great early Himalayan 
climber-explorers. His greatest success was the ascent in 1907 of 
Trisul (7120), which remained for 21 years the highest peak climbed. 
His authoritative climbing memoirs have scarce received their due," 
Neate.

A near fine copy in a very good lightly edgeworn and price-clipped
