[Rarebooks] Orlovsky correspondence

Orlovsky, Peter. Seven pieces of correspondence between Peter and Ted 
Wilentz (noted New York bookman). All in fine condition and all letters 
with their envelopes.
(1) A full page air mail TLS from India dated June 1962 mostly concerning 
his VA checks and censorship in India.
(2) A full page air mail ALS from India dated August (1962) concerning 
checks and Ginsburg's appearance in Esquire.
(3) A full page air mail ALS dated November 1963. Written just before he 
sailed on Queen Mary, it concerns his friends and poetry in England and 
again those checks.
(4) A postcard dated April 1975. On the verso he chats about recent poetry 
readings and his and Allen's move to the farm. (5) A Christmas card dated 
December 1976 concerning his and Allen's activities--including meditation, 
Bob Dylan and Rolling Thunder.
(6) A full page ALS dated December 1977 concerning recent activities by him 
and Allen.
(7) A printed announcement dated December 1978 for the publication of his 
book Clean Asshole Poems with a brief written appreciation to Ted.
