Illustrated with photographs. "The first book to tell the dramatic
story of the United Nations in action for and with the youth of the
world." SIGNED and INSCRIBED by both authors on the half-title page,
with the inscription and date in Ferris's hand: "To/Walter O'Keefe/in
appreciation of our many/years together in the Junior/Literary Guild
and with our/best wishes/Eleanor Roosevelt/Helen Ferris/November
1950." Mrs. Roosevelt had been on the Editorial Board of the Junior
Literary Guild for 21 years, and Mrs. Ferris was Editor in Chief of
the Junior Literary Guild. This title is rarely seen inscribed and
the association is an attractive one. Small rough erasure spot on
front endpaper; dustwrapper with some light chipping and rubbing to
the rear. Near Fine in a Very Good dustwrapper. $1500.00
