VOYAGE OF DISCOVERY 26TH JULY, 1929.
[Butte, MT]: [Press of the Montana Standard], [1929]. Limited edition,
Wrappers, Octavo, 19 pages, Margin illustrations, centerfold map. Very Good.
      An account of a one day houseboat cruise on Flathead Lake, Montana in
1929, which was attended by 20 men of the area including Charles Towne,
Frank Ward, Sidney Logan, Tom Hand, Water Meter Mac. The boat was the Kee O
Mee, captained by John Sherman. Towne has written the "voyage" up quite
humorously in the style of Samuel Pepys. The margins are illustrated with
monochrome photographs arranged in strips, and there is a centerfold map of
Flathead Lake and the route of the Kee O Mee. Illustrated by Frank Ward.
Limited to 100 copies, of which this is numbered 100. Rear cover is
illustrated with facsimile signatures of all 20 gentlemen. Bound in white
paper covers with yapp edges, saddle-stapled binding. Covers have some edge
rubs and wear, a few creases, and some mild exterior soil. Covers are rubbed
along spine and it appears someone repaired a split at lower spine. The
binding staples are beginning to pull through spine.    $50.00
