      Individual histories of the 65 large troopships operated by the U.S.
Army in World War II, including 8 that had also served in World War I. Gives
basic specifications and a photograph of each ship in addition to the
narrative record of World War II activities. Bound in maroon cloth over
flexible boards, spine lettered in gilt, upper board decorated with a ship
silhouette in gilt, decorated endpapers. Just slight wear at extremities.
