leather extremities, spines lightly sunned. Contents are clean and

pgs] Very good. Including the "Purple Cow" with Forty Odd Nonsense
Quatrains, The "Chewing Gum Man" Epics, the "Gerrish" Ghost Stories,
Poems of Patagonia and etc...Printed on very heavy paper. The binding
is intact and the contents complete, but weak at inner hinges. Some
edge wear to boards. Otherwise clean and contents are still tight.

in original glassine dust jacket. Ladies having tea on front board
and little girls playing on rear board. Front flyleaf separated from
text block but intact and forming whole with pastedown. Minor rubbing
to corners. Tiny ink spot to rear flyleaf and owner's inscription.

Later edition. Slim 8vo. [56 pgs] Very good. This delightfully
illustrated book of verse will be a great addition to the collector
of children's books library. It is profusely illustrated throughout
the 56 pages of 44 poems and rhymes, with color vignettes. I have
included a sample of the illustrations (see photo). The pictorial
paper-covered boards are in very good condition with minor shelf wear
to the edges. All edges are green. The spine is cloth with black
lettering and design. The first free end paper is inscribed in
pen...from Grandma, 1945. The title page has the number 314.243
listed where the published date is generally printed. $85.00 {71631}
