PREMIERE  PERFORMANCES;  TOGETHER WITH FACSIMILES OF  THE  FIRST-NIGHT
PROGRAMMES.  Folio (8-1/4" x 12-1/8") bound in half red velvet  with a
green cloth spine label and gilt-decorated green cloth boards. Edited,
with  a  Prologue  and Copious Descriptive  Particulars,  by  Reginald
Allen;  Foreword  by  Bridget  D'Oyly Carte. Copy #961  of  1500  with
reproductions   of  contemporary  illustrations.   The  27  facsimiles
including  one  printed on red silk are loosely laid into a gold  foil
clamshell  box  which  also fits into the slipcase.  Issued  unsigned.
Fine in Near Fine gold foil slipcase with typical rubbing.     $300.00
