ELIOT, T. S TYPED LETTER SIGNED (TLS)
London 30 April 1959. One-page letter of @110 words on Faber and Faber
stationery dated 30 April 1959 SIGNED by Eliot at the conclusion. Addressed to
Miss Anne Munro-Kerr of the League of Dramatists in London regarding an Italian
translation of his play THE CONFIDENTIAL CLERK by Pavolini that is unknown to
him and how he has no objections to its use if the producers also do not object.
Eliot also asks about the Piccolo Teatro in Naples and its relation, if any, to
a theater of the same name in Milan. Small hole in the upper left corner in the
blank margin. Typical folding creases. Near Fine $1000.00
