stamped in blind and gold, an excellent copy.  Fronts. by 
Dalziel.  Viii, 207 pages.  Eckley, an American heiress and medium, 
had a close relationship with the Brownings during her residence in 
Italy, she being, as were they, a supporter of the Risorgimento. She 
commissioned portraits of the Brownings by Gordigiani & had a lengthy 
correspondence with Elizabeth Barrett Browning, the two sometimes 
described as "spirit sisters."  Many of the poems in the book relate
