[Rarebooks] FS: Harry Truman's Memoirs in two volumes, both Signed

TRUMAN,  Harry. MEMOIRS. YEAR OF DECISIONS and YEARS OF TRIAL  AND
HOPE.  Garden  City: Doubleday (1955 & 1956). Both apparent Book  Club
Editions  with  unpriced  dustwrappers.  Each copy  is  INSCRIBED  "To
---/from"  and SIGNED by Truman on the half title pages. Truman  seems
to  have usually only signed one volume, most often the first, of  the
set,  and it is quite uncommon to find both volumes signed and the set
intact.  The front free endpaper has a 1999 inscription in an unknown,
elderly  hand.  Minor  cracks to hinges but text block  is  tight  and
clean.  Dampstain  to  foot of dustwrapper of the  second  volume  not
affecting  the  book. Near Fine in Near Fine dustwrappers.  A  bright,
handsome set.                                                 $1500.00
