Joseph Pennell. London: William Heinemann. 1900. Lg. 8vo. xvi,270pp. Partially 
unopened. Profusely illustrated with text drawings and engraved plates. Special 
edition limited to 150 numbered copies printed on Japanese vellum. Orig. 
vellum-like boards stamped in gilt. T.e.g. Fine. Housed in a custom made flannel 
lined cloth portfolio inside a 1/2 blue morocco over cloth slipcase (some minor 
insect damage to the cloth portion). Laid in is a long 6-page A.L.S. from 
Joseph Pennell, dated “Paris, July 4.” It refers to a Paris student(?) uprising 
and includes 2 nice ink sketches.     $750.00 (trade discount allowed)
