PHELPS, Elizabeth Stuart. A SINGLAR LIFE. Boston: Houghton Mifflin
1898. First Edition, 52nd thousand printing. Dark green cloth
decorated with blindstamping and gilt lettering. Some dustspotting to
the outer edges of the last few pages; otherwise, a very bright and
fresh copy in the scarce original plain paper dustwrapper with author,
title, and publisher printed on the spine. A remarkable survivor for
this popular 19th century temperance novel. Just about Fine in a Fine
and quite scare early dustwrapper. $100.00
