1898.  First  Edition,  52nd  thousand   printing.  Dark  green  cloth
decorated  with blindstamping and gilt lettering. Some dustspotting to
the  outer  edges of the last few pages; otherwise, a very bright  and
fresh copy in the scarce original plain paper dustwrapper with author,
title,  and publisher printed on the spine. A remarkable survivor  for
this  popular 19th century temperance novel. Just about Fine in a Fine
and quite scare early dustwrapper.                             $100.00
