THE  THIRD  EDITION,  MUCH ENLARGED WITH ADDITIONS THROUGH  THE  WHOLE
WORKE  Quarto (7-1/4" x 12") bound in early 19th century half calf and
marbled  boards with calf corners, recently rebacked with the original
spine  laid  down and a new gilt-lettered morocco spine  label;  [xl],
1102,  [40]  pages. Illustrated with woodcut initials  and  ornaments.
Sabin  66679. Very slight worming from A1-L4 mainly of sidenotes, some
damp-staining  mostly affecting the outside corners and hardly visible
on   most  pages.  Older  spine   label  laid  in.  Interesting  note,
apparently  in a 17th century hand, by Richard Higginbotham  recording
the  purchase  and completeness of the book. Early owner names of  Ann
Calbhoishe,  William  M. Gunn, and Edward Len on the title page.  Very
Good or better.                                               $3000.00
