(1962).  First Edition. Folio (9-3/4" x 13") in publisher's red cloth.
With  two  superb ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPHS by Chagall made especially  for
this  book. This copy INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the artist with a  large
signature    on  the  front   endpaper  "Pour   Louise/Van   Gelder/en
souvenir/Marc  Chagall/1964."  Dustwrapper   is  price-clipped  though
still  showing the dollar sign. The cardboard slipcase is present  and
still  has the printed label on the front cover, often found  lacking.
