McGraw-Hill  Book  Company (1965). First Edition. Illustrated with  92
photographs.  A  family  history written by Johnson's mother  with  an
introduction  by  the  president.  SIGNED   by  the  President  with a
felt-tip  pen on the half-title page and INSCRIBED and SIGNED again on
the    dedication   page:  "To   ------/from  his   friend/Lyndon   B.
Johnson/Xmas'  72."  Books genuinely signed by LBJ are  quite  scarce,
and  most of those are copies of THE VANTAGE POINT, usually signed  on
a  bookplate. This is one of his scarcest books to find inscribed,  as
he  tended to do so only for those of intimate acquaintance. Near Fine
