octavo, original bevelled cloth , blind-ruled on the covers and 
gold-stamped on the spine
(including a vignette of the beaver in gold.)  Some light fading and 
slight wear - a much better copy than usually encountered since most 
copies offered are library castoffs.  Complete with a folding map and 
23 lithographed plates by Duval & Son, Phila (many from 
photos.)  There are also numerous                text-illustrations.   $275.00
