HELLER, Joseph. CATCH-22. New York: Simon & Schuster 1961. First
Edition. Author's uncommon and influential first book, basis for the
popular film starring, among others, Martin Sheen, Bob Newhart,
Anthony Perkins, and Art Garfunkel. The white lettering on the spine
is still sharp and the blue of the cloth is just a tad faded. An
owner's name is on the upper right corner of the front free endpaper.
The dustwrapper has a miniscule closed tear at the top of the front
panel just touching the blue portion which retains a strong and even
color, as does the spine. Near Fine in a Fine dustwrapper. Lovely
copy. $4500.00
