Greetings Booklovers,
We are pleased to offer:
~
(No. 9088 ) Bowker, Francis E. HULL-DOWN (SIGNED).
[New Bedford]: [Reynolds Printing, Inc.], 1963. First printing, Quarter
cloth, tall octavo, 149 pages, Black & white photographs, facsimiles. Fine
in a very good glassine wrapper.
Lively chronicle of the American coasting schooner type, particularly

The last half of the book records that disastrous final voyage in rather
humorous fashion. ALBION, p. 30. Bound in dark blue paper over boards with
cloth spine, gilt-stamped spine lettering, gilt schooner on upper board.
SIGNED by Bowker on title page. Glassine wrapper has edge wear and browning
along spine. $150.00
