Limited  (1955).  First  Edition. Illustrated with  photographs.  This
copy  is  INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the aviator on the  front  endpaper:
"For/Katherine  Howard/with  appreciation/and all  good  wishes/Jackie
Cochran."  Cochran held many of the world's air speed records and  was
on  the General Staff of the U. S. Air Forces in World War II when she
led  more  than a thousand women pilots. Very Good in a rather  tired,
but complete dustwrapper.                                      $250.00
