1823.)  22  clean, attractive hand-colored plates.  12mo, nice later 
quarter leather, spine decorated in gilt, marbled boards.   On front 
blank: "Miss Sills / Hanthorpe House / 1824."  (Hanthorpe House was 
in Lincolnshire; Sills was a

[BICKNELL, WM. I.]   TALLIS'S SCRIPTURE NATURAL HISTORY FOR 
YOUTH.  N.p., n.d., (not after 1867.)  Thick 12mo, old half leather, 
edges rubbed, joints repaired.  Color vignette title only (printed 
title lacking.)  On spine: "Vol. 2." Contents consist of clean plates 
of birds, fish, flowers, snakes, humans, plants and all sorts of 
animals & creatures.  Well over 150 of the plates are hand-colored, 
(about half of the volume?), the rest are uncolored.
Slip inserted with 1867 gift
