the Imperial Russian Geographic Society; and II: Regarding basic
hypothesis of the Ice Age. A supplement with maps and drawings was
published in a separate volume. OCLC and RLIN show only two
locations, neither of which have the supplement; however both volumes

Society Library (London).

Prince Peter (Pyotr) Alexeyevich Kropotkin (1842-1921) began as an
explorer of Asia, Siberia, and the Scandanavian countries for the
Geological Society, but soon after the publication of this work he
drifted into revolutionary politics and anarchism, spent long years
in exile, but returned during the revolution to help the Kerensky
government formulate policy, withdrawing however when the Bolsheviks
came to power. Spine split at front joint, otherwise binding tight,
small institutional stamp in Cyrillic to half-title, label on spine,
leaves clean; but for the split, a very good copy. [30012] $200.00
