Alexander, Christopher. "A FORESHADOWING OF 21st CENTURY ART. THE COLOR
AND GEOMETRY OF VERY EARLY TURKISH CARPETS"

Oxford University Press: 1993.

A noted study of rug design and color based on one of the finest
collections of early Turkish carpets in the Western world. Alexander, an
architect, has exactly the type of mind needed to conduct such an
exhaustive survey and his collection, filled with unique rarities, is
mesmerizing. Gold brocade-covered flexible cloth covers, 8.5”x12”, 351
pages, color, b/w and line illustrations. With clear plastic jacket; light
wear, small pen note on the endpaper, but a very nice copy. [31015]
