The third edition (after Paris, 1664 and Cologne, 1666). Sorbiere went to 
visit his friend Thomas Hobbes in England in 1663 and afterward wrote this book 
of his observations. There are numerous medical and scientific comments 
including references to Robert Boyle and his pneumatic machine, etc.
