First  Edition.  Copy #190 of only 201 numbered and SIGNED  copies  of
perhaps Ferber's best known book, published a year after her Pulitzer-
Prize  winning  SO BIG. Source for the musical and film starring  Paul
Robeson.  Rebacked  with  a new spine very similar  to  the  original.
Attractive  period  bookplate on front pastedown. Near  Fine,  lacking
