1. LEWIS, Sinclair. SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH. An 8" x 10" black-and-white
formal portrait of a pensive Lewis, head on his fist and looking
down. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on the light background on
the left side: "To Guy/Palmerton/Sinclair Lewis." The photo is also
signed in the image by the photographer, Talbot of New York. Signed
photographs by Lewis are uncommon. Ink photographer's credit on
verso. Two letters in "Lewis" slightly smudged. Minor wrinkling to
upper corners. Still Near Fine $1500.00
2. LEWIS, Sinclair. SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH. A 5" x 7" black-and-white
formal portrait by Harold Stein of the Nobel Prize-winning author
seated and looking directly at the camera. Tipped to an 8" x 10" mat
and SIGNED by the author on the mat below the photograph and dated 18
May 1938. Fine $1000.00
