a chapter on the American Indians.  Original vertically-ribbed dark 
green cloth with blindstamped decorations on both covers, and spine 
stamped in gilt, light chipping at top of spine, inner joints 
beginning to open, otherwise a very good copy.  Old label on end 
paper of Jewish bookseller, Saml. Hart, Jr., Charleston, S. Carolina, 
and signature of Henry Laurence, 1844.
