Volumes. Boston: Samuel Walker, 1834. First American Edition. Quartos. xx,

statistical tables and index; plus one page at back with directions for
binder. 

Illustrated throughout with thirty-three engraved views; twenty-eight
engraved maps; and four mathematical plates. All three volumes with engraved
frontispieces and illustrated title pages. Bound in contemporary full
mottled calf over boards with gilt dentelle paneled spine compartment, and
dark brown leather spine labels stamped in gilt. Rubbing along the edges,
boards, and in places along the spine; corners moderately bumped with some
rubbing; light foxing in places, some offsetting, else Fine. All
illustrations accounted for and includes one additional plate not called
for, a "view of Petersburg".  An extensive work with much on the geography
of the world and the known history of the various countries at that time.
