Nos. 1-8 (complete). Nos. 1 & 2 in orig. printed pictorial boards; Nos. 3-8 in 
printed green wrappers. 7 of the 8 covers are illustrated by Aubrey 
Beardsley, as are 30 of the 88 plates. Some chipping & rubbing at extremities of spine 
of No. 1. All the nos. are housed in a custom made brown cloth clamshell box 
with black calf spine label.     $2,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
A complete file of the original issues of this important artistic & literary 
journal (Yeats, Shaw, Conrad, Beerbohm, etc.) of the 1890’s, with all the 
publisher’s insert: the front wrappers of the first 2 nos. that were reprinted on 
white paper and are bound in at the end of No. 2; the often missing Beardsley “
Christmas Card” that is laid in at the front of No. 1; and the inserted 
publisher’s slip in No. 7, announcing the last issue. Issue No. 2 is in its first 
state with the Chiswick imprint on the verso of the title.
