& Southwick for Thomas Spencer, 1795.  Nicely bound in modern half calf with decorated boards and new end papers.   Viii, 248, [12] pages.  Erratum on last page.  On the margin of page 46 an early owner or user of the book has penciled: "Dr. Physick has said that this Idea of this use of the muscular fibres was original with him" - a delightful tidbit for the medical historian. Some marginal darkening of the first two and  last few leaves.  Garrison/Morton 2281 (London edition): "The first systematic text-book of morbid anatomy . . .
