1791-1796. 12mo. 46 vols., consisting of 74 comedies and 63 tragedies, each with its
own title page and a copper engraved frontispiece depicting a scene from the
play. Cont. green calf over marbled boards, a bit rubbed, spines faded to olive,
some chipping, mostly minor, at heads of spines (1 volume with a 1” chip).
Cont. copper engraved bookplates of James Cock bound into all but one of the
volumes. OFFERED WITH: CAWTHORN’S MINOR BRITISH THEATRE CONSISTING OF THE MOST
ESTEEMED FARCES AND OPERAS. London: Printed for, and Under the Direction of,
