successful publication and in gratitude for 
publishing their work with Harper San Francisco 
(signed) Clayton E. Carlson, Publisher [dated] 
October, 1991. The word "editor" has been added 
by hand over the word "author", and above the 
book plate it is inscribed "To Charles". A fine 
copy in a fine dust wrapper. Presumably, the best 
copy in the world. ¶ An anthology of essays, with 
contributions by Riane Eisler, Marija Gimbutas, 
Joseph Campbell, Charles Muses and others. From
