American Life). Eads was Bishop of the Kentucky Societies for two 
decades. Loomis, in the introduction, calls the work "the first book 
ever written for publication by an individual whose whole life has 
been consecrately devoted to and guided by the principles of 
Shakerism." Spine ends worn else a very good copy, light scattered
