Translated into Japanese chiefly from the fifth edition of the 
Fitzgerald version by H. Kakise. Number 81 of one hundred copies. 
Introduction in Japanese and English. Text in Japanese blank verse.

Kakise prepared this translation for Frank L. Coes, a Worcester 
Massachusetts collector of over 700 editions of the Rubaiyat. A fine
