of his speeches and a biographical sketch by his wife. Illustrated. First
edition. A unique presentation copy: Boldly INSCRIBED by Bryan on February
25, 1899 to Rev. De Witt Talmage and his wife. Bound in original cloth
binding stamped in silver on the spine and cover. The spine is darkened. 629
pages. Light evidence of bookplate removal from the front paste-down.
Contents fine and unmarked. Contents are near fine and unmarked. The front
endpaers are partly cracked, the rear endpapers are fully cracked, and the
hinge is partly separated and needs repair. Has the blind stamp of famous
historian Richard W. Leopold on the upper corner of the free front endpaper.
