"Chinese Furniture. Hardwood Examples of the Ming, and Early Ch’ing
Dynasties"

By Robert Hatfield Ellsworth. Published in London by Collins: [1970].

The desirable first edition of this classic, oversized reference, which
illustrated furniture from a number of private and public collections.
“Ellsworth” has become almost folkloric in its reputation, but unlike
other celebrities, this one will not leave you sitting there at the end of
the show, wondering what the heck you just paid all that money for. An
outstanding book.

Hardcover. 11”x13.5”, 296+ pages, many black & white and some color
illustrations. Slipcased. Some very, very minor cover soil, but otherwise
in very nice, clean condition. $400
