IRVING, John. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP. New York: E. P. Dutton
(1978). First Edition. National Book Award winner, made into a
successful film. INSCRIBED "For Jerry" and boldly SIGNED on the half
title page by the author, quite uncommon as such. Irving's signature,
unfortunately, like Capote's and a few others, is often forged so
what appear to be bargains are usually costly mistakes. Book has a
small sunned area at the base of the spine. Dustwrapper quite nice
with mild edgewear. Owner name and date at the top of the front free
endpaper. Near Fine in a Near Fine dustwrapper. $850.00
