I can offer...
[BIBLE - MICMAC]. Pela Kesagunoodumumkawa Tan Tula Uksakumamenoo
Westowoolkw Sasoogoole Clstiawti Ootenink. Megumoweesimk. [Translated
by Silus Tertius Rand.] Chebooktook [Halifax, NS]: Megumagea
Ledakan-Weekugukemkawa Moweome [Printed by the Nova Scotia Printing
Company], 1871 [1875?].
126 pp., [2 blank], [78], [2 blank], [143] [1 blank], [430] pp.
Includes a "Key to the Pronunciation" on the verso of the title-page.
12mo, contemporary cloth-backed marbled boards; the spine almost
completely worn away. The title-page is torn almost detached at the
gutter, and the final leaf is also cracking at the gutter (both due to
the way the fragile paper was glued to the flyleaves), evidence of
bookplate removal on the pastedown. Internally a clean copy.
A revised Micmac edition of three of the Gospels--Mathew, Mark,
and Luke--along with 1 Romans through Revelations; the earliest Bible
translations into Micmac were done in the 1850s. The Gospel of John,
not included here, was published in 1872. Darlow & Moule nos. 6788
(t.p. dated 1871), 6790, 6791, 6792.
OCLC records seven copies of this larger edition (as contrasted
with 32 of Matthew alone)--at Yale, the Smithsonian, Andover Newton
Theological Seminary, Gordon College, Saint Olaf College, the Bridwell
Library at SMU (which assigned the date of 1875 in OCLC), and Cambridge
University.
