First edition. Octavo, bound in modern quarter brown calf over 
marbled boards, contrasting leather title label on spine, raised 
bands with gilt rules. 410 pp + errata leaf at end. Engraved 
frontispiece plus 2 additional plates in the text, as well as various 
charts and tables and mathematical calculations in the text. Very 
light foxing, a very good clean copy in a fine and pleasing modern 
binding. Gardiner, BIBLIOTHECA ASTROLOGICA, item 311, "the best 
dictionary we have on the subject".
