By E. Alfred Jones. Printed in London by the Saint Catherine Press in
1935. Edition limited to 200 numbered copies.

Noted silver historian E. Alfred Jones’ catalog of the very fine silver
collection of William John Arthur Charles James Cavendish-Bentinck, 6th
Duke of Portland KG GCVO PC TD [1857–1943]. The Duke carried the crown of
Princess Elisabeth at the coronation of her father, King George VI. His
collection consisted of 17th and very early 18th century English silver of
fine form and notable rarity.

Hardcover. 10.25”x13”, xxiv + 183 pages, plus 21 black & white plates.
Blue cloth with gilt titles, as issued. Covers with minor soil, a bit
sunned at the spine (as usual), but otherwise in fine, clean condition.

may be reserved pending payment; Institutions may be billed; Standard
courtesies to institutions and the trade; Postage charges are $5.00 for
the first book, and $2.00 for each additional book. Shipments outside the
U.S. will be billed at cost. We accept returns if we are notified within
ten days of your receipt of the books-please ask for full instructions and
terms. Massachusetts residents must add 5% state sales tax.
